Movement, shape, and color are the keys to opening doorways exposing hidden treasure. Painting is like storytelling, a blank canvas is most exciting, somewhere I learned that the most important aspect of being an artist is to “just paint”, then trust the practice to lead you along the path.

My process is very organic. There always exists an idea or notion of what is to evolve, and many times I may not exactly know where I am headed until I begin with that first stroke.

This is not to say that my technique and images are not deliberate; to the contrary, they are specific, and intentional. Yet it is the method in which I arrive at the final image that emerges, unfolds and is inspired from within.
